First of all, you need to get approval to use Socar. Only those who have been licensed for more than one year can sign up, and it takes about a day to be approved after signing up.
The usage fee for Socar includes a rental fee and insurance fee that are paid before boarding, and a driving fee per km traveled that is automatically paid when returning the car after use.

Rental rates are divided into weekend and weekday rates, and flexible rate plans are operated according to conditions such as vehicle type, region/Soca zone, day/time, and peak/off season. The table below is the rental fee set for 2 hours during the day on weekdays. There are many variables in the price of Socar, so please use it only as a reference. For reference, if you rent a car for more than one day, such as 2 days and 1 night, the rental car in the vicinity will be much cheaper than Socar, which requires you to pay the daily rental fee and driving fee per 1km. Before renting a car, be sure to check the rental car.

There are a total of three insurance products, and the higher the premium, the lower the deductible. In other words, even if there is a repair cost, the amount I have to pay will be lower. Think carefully before choosing your insurance.
Socar Driving Fee
The driving fee to be paid upon return after use differs depending on the fuel type. Electric cars are the cheapest at 50 won per km. Next, diesel and gasoline become more expensive in that order, and the unit price of the trip increases according to the fuel efficiency and mileage of the vehicle.
If you run out of fuel, you have to pay with a gas card for Socar in the car. Since gas fees are non-refundable, you should never pay with a personal card.
If you have used the Hi-Pass, the Hi-Pass amount will be added when calculating the fare after use.
If there is no later reservation for the car I rented, it is possible to extend the car time. Extensions can be made in increments of 10 minutes, and an extension fee will apply.
When returning the car, park it at the place you promised to return it, turn off the engine, and return it through the app. When you return the vehicle, the mileage is automatically calculated and you can pay the travel fee.
