2. Frequently Asked Questions 좋은뉴스
Q. My child is a graduate, can I use the parent service?
Parent services are provided only to current students. Graduates cannot use parent services.
Q. My child went on to high school. Can I see data from elementary and middle school?
If your child goes on to a higher school, you must apply for parent service again, and it is not possible to inquire about the data of the school before going to school.
Currently, only school-level data can be viewed.
Q. My child has transferred schools, but I want to see the grades he received from the previous school. Where can I check?
Grades received from the previous school can be checked in the subject learning progress of the school record book.
Q. I applied for parent service, but I can’t find my child’s school.
Please enter only the first two digits of the school name and click the “Search” button to search.
For example, if you search for “High School affiliated with Chung-Ang University Normal University”, you cannot find the school name if you search for “Jungang University High School”. In this case, enter “Central” and select the school from the list of schools from the search button.
Q. Can both parents use the parent service?
For one child, both the father and mother can apply for the parent service and use the service.
Q. When an error occurs saying that a server error has occurred when registering a certificate after logging in with ID
1. Check if the name of the certificate is the same as the name used when signing up for ID. (Parent service is available only in the name of the parent.)
2. When the certificate type is for internet banking use, it cannot be used for business or business use.
3. Check if the certificate has expired.
4. Click the View Certificate button at the bottom of the field to enter the certificate password to check if the certificate status is correct.
(If a certificate is issued and a certificate of the same authority is reissued on another PC, the existing certificate will be revoked.)
If the certificate status is a revoked certificate, you must use or reissue a certificate that has been reissued later.
5. Lastly, some financial institutions do not contain personal information when issuing a certificate, so it can be used in finance but not in parental services. The way to find out is to access the www.yessign.or.kr site, go to the certificate management/additional function menu, and run certificate identity verification to check whether the personal information of the certificate matches. If identity verification fails, please reissue a certificate containing personal information before using it.
Q. Change of child information after child’s transfer or entrance/admission
Since the previous parent service application information is automatically transmitted when a student moves in or goes on to school (when the parent service application information transmission is selected from the transfer or graduate school), only the approval of the homeroom teacher of the school where the student has transferred or entered school is required.
However, the processing time of the transfer/admission system may vary depending on school circumstances and may take 1 to 2 weeks.

Q. [Certificate Login] I want to log in with a certificate, but what should I do if I cannot enter my password?
If there is a problem with entering the password, such as when the keyboard for entering the password does not work or only the first letter is entered when logging in with the certificate, we will guide you on how to do it.
This is a problem caused by a conflict between the public service keyboard security program and the security program of another site, and can be solved in the following way.
① Termination of the Nice public service site (internet termination)
② Control Panel – Add or Remove Programs (or Programs and Features) – Uninstall nProtect Online Security
③ Reconnect to Nice public service – Reinstall security program – Retry login with certificate
If the above method does not solve the problem, you can receive detailed remote support and guidance through the INCA Internet Consulting Center at 1661-9677.
