Meritz Fire & Marine Emergency Dispatch Service Possible items and number of times

Depends on the insurance period.

– Insurance period 1 year: 5 to 7 times (depending on the number of times of previous contract use)

– Insurance period more than 3 months ~ less than 1 year: 3 times

– Insurance period less than 3 months: 2 times

 

Types of roadside assistance

 

1. Emergency towing service: A service that tows the vehicle to the repair shop within a range of 10km in the event of an accident or breakdown that makes it impossible to drive. For distances exceeding 10 km, the cost is borne by the customer.

 

2. Emergency refueling service: When operation is impossible due to fuel exhaustion, emergency refueling is provided twice during the insurance period and once per day with a limit of 3 liters. However, only gasoline and diesel are available, and if it exceeds 2 times, it will be replaced with emergency towing service. However, if requested, fuel may be purchased and delivered, at which time the customer bears the cost.

In the case of LPG vehicles, a service that tows them to a nearby charging station within a range of 10 km. Costs for distances exceeding 10 km are borne by the customer.

 

3. Lock release service: A service that unlocks the driver’s seat lock when it is impossible to unlock the driver’s seat due to a key loss. However, unlocking the trunk lock is excluded.

Foreign cars and special locking devices may be excluded.

 

4. Battery charging service: Battery charging service is provided when the battery is discharged and driving is impossible.

 

5. Tire replacement service: In case driving is impossible due to tire damage, ‘replacement’ service is provided with the spare tire of the car.

 

6. Emergency Rescue Service: Rescue service when driving is impossible due to road deviation or obstacles. In case of special rescue, additional cost will be charged.

① In case of rescue with a special rescue vehicle exceeding 2.5 tons
② When two or more special rescue vehicles are rescued
③ When a foreign car or a domestic vehicle with a capacity of 3,000cc or more is rescued
④ In case of rescue using separate rescue equipment such as a safety loader
⑤ If the time from the start of the rescue operation to the moment immediately before connecting the tow hook exceeds 1 hour

7. Tire puncture repair service: In the case of a simple puncture with a hole in the tire, one part of the puncture is repaired once per day.
