How to fix Samsung air conditioner e1 01 error
1. Check the indoor and outdoor unit power
The most common cases where AS technicians come and tell us are when the indoor unit or outdoor unit, especially the outdoor unit’s power cord, is unplugged by mistake. In this case, checking the power supply and plugging in the cord will usually solve the problem.
2. Reset with the remote control when the power is plugged in

If the error continues to appear even though the power is properly plugged in, there is a way to force reboot with the remote control. If this method is executed, the communication state of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit is forcibly rebooted. Should I do it with the power plugged in?
The remote control may be different for each air conditioner, but a typical Samsung air conditioner will have a fan speed and a confirmation button.
If you press and hold both the fan speed and the OK button at the same time, you will see that the display window of the air conditioner is reset again. You can then take your hand off the remote control.
After 1-2 minutes, the air conditioner reboots and turns on again. If it works normally at this time, it is fixed.
3. Cycle the breaker power
If it doesn’t work even after using all the above methods, turn off the air conditioner part breaker at the toad house breaker at home and turn it on again.
At this time, just in case, unplug the power cords of the indoor and outdoor units of the air conditioner.
If you open the toad house in the house, there is a circuit breaker marked as air conditioner or A/C, which is the air conditioner circuit breaker.
Turn it off, turn off the air conditioner circuit breaker again after about a minute, and plug the power cords of the air conditioner indoor and outdoor units back in to check.
There are typically three ways to do this.
If you have tried everything and still can’t do it, you need to contact the service center and ask for a visit.
If you request it to a service center, it can cost about 50,000 won, and if you ask a private air conditioner company, it can cost about 100,000 won.
